Getting acquainted

Welcome to the class! I look forward to our discussions this semester, Monday evenings in Nott Hall and anytime here in cyberspace.

As I write this, I'm unsure whether Hurricane Katrina will postpone our first class meeting. In any case, you soon will be receiving an invitation to join Blogger. Accept the invite and then post here a few paragraphs offering your definitition of science fiction (with examples) and describing your experiences with science fiction. Yes, I know you've had them; confess!
